How to pull up a fitting

Tylok Fittings come completely assembled. There is no need to take them apart. Insert tubing into Tylok Fitting making sure tubing seats firmly against shoulder of body, and nut is finger tight.
Tighten nut with wrench an additional number of turns as indicated on reverse side. For High Pressure/Safety applications, refer to the Product Catalog for detailed assembly instructions.

Remake Instructions: Mark the location of the nut with reference to the body before disassembly. For reassembly, re-insert the tubing into the body until it is seated.
With a proper size wrench, retighten nut to original location by realigning previous marks.
A noticeable amount of torque will develop when the nut is turned to original position. Next, rotate the nut slightly past original position to fully re-set the seal.

Special Fitting Make Up: Port Connectors and Plugs are tightened only ¼’’ turn from finger tight. For 1/16”, 1/8” & 3/16” (sizes 1,2,& 3) tighten the nut 1/8” turn from finger tight.
